Faith Circles ("the App") is a Christian community app designed to help people create private circles for prayer, Scripture discussion, encouragement, and spiritual growth. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Faith Circles mobile app, related websites, invite links, support pages, and related services operated by SnickityBit Solutions LLC.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use Faith Circles.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information. Name or display name, email address, authentication provider information (Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or email/password), the user ID assigned by our authentication provider, an optional profile image, and account creation and login timestamps.
Circle and Community Content. Faith Circles is built around private groups called circles. We may store circle names and descriptions, member lists and roles (owner, leader, or member), prayer requests and their visibility settings, comments and encouragement messages, "amen" / "prayed" interaction indicators, answered-prayer records, weekly Scripture reflections, discussion questions, weekly challenges, and circle invitations and invite status. Some of this content may include personal, spiritual, religious, emotional, family, health, or life-situation information that you or other users choose to enter. Please be thoughtful about what you share, especially in group settings.
Scripture and Bible Feature Information. Selected Bible translation, selected book, chapter, and verse range, passage text used in a weekly Scripture, generated discussion prompts or summaries, Bible translation preferences, and app language or locale preferences. Faith Circles may use Bible data providers such as Bolls.life, or internal/shared Bible services also used by other SnickityBit apps such as Ask The Word.
AI Feature Information. Faith Circles may use artificial intelligence features to help generate weekly discussion prompts, summaries, reflection questions, prayer prompts, or similar content. When you use an AI feature, we may process the Bible passage or selected Scripture text, the prompt or topic you provide, the circle language or output language, generated AI responses, and usage counts or rate-limit information. AI features are not a substitute for Scripture, pastoral counsel, professional counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or other trusted guidance. AI-generated content should be reviewed by the circle leader or user before being shared.
Invite Links, Short Links, and QR Codes. Faith Circles may use invite links, short links, and QR codes to help users invite members to a circle. We may collect invite token or invite ID, the associated circle, the invite creator, invite creation, expiration, revocation, and usage status, the short link destination, QR code generation data, and basic link usage analytics such as whether a link was opened. Short links and QR codes are used for convenience and routing — they are not the sole basis for authorizing access to a circle.
Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Information. Device type and operating system version, app version, general usage events such as feature impressions and taps, crash logs, performance data, error logs, notification delivery or interaction status, and approximate region or language settings when available. We use this information to improve reliability, troubleshoot problems, understand feature usage, and improve the app.
Notifications. If you enable notifications, Faith Circles may use push notifications for prayer request updates, weekly Scripture reflections, circle activity, reminders, and invite-related notifications. You can control notification permissions through your device settings and, where available, in-app settings.
Support Communications. If you contact us for support, we may collect your name, email address, message content, screenshots or attachments you choose to provide, and diagnostic information related to your support request.

- Analyze feature usage and app performance
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
3. How Circle Privacy Works
Faith Circles is intended for private group use. However, privacy depends on how users and leaders use the app.
Circle Members. Members of a circle may be able to see content shared with that circle, depending on the feature and visibility setting.
Leaders and Owners. Circle owners and leaders may have access to additional information or moderation controls, such as member management, weekly Scripture creation, or access to leader-visible prayer requests.
Leader-Only Prayer Requests. Faith Circles allows certain prayer requests to be marked as visible only to leaders. We use app and backend rules to help enforce this visibility. However, users should still be careful not to share information they are not comfortable entrusting to circle leaders.
User Responsibility: Do not share confidential, emergency, medical, legal, financial, or highly sensitive information in a circle unless you understand who can see it and are comfortable sharing it.
4. AI and Faith-Based Content
Faith Circles may include AI-generated content. AI-generated summaries, questions, prayers, or reflections may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific faith tradition or situation. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using, relying on, or sharing it.
Faith Circles does not provide pastoral counseling, professional counseling, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency assistance. If you are facing an emergency or crisis, contact emergency services, a trusted person, church leader, counselor, or appropriate professional immediately.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
With Other Circle Members. Content you share in a circle may be visible to other circle members according to the circle's settings and the visibility option you selected.
With Service Providers. We may use third-party service providers for authentication, cloud hosting and database storage, push notifications, analytics and crash reporting, AI processing, Bible passage retrieval, short links, QR code generation, and email or support services. These providers process information on our behalf to help us operate the app.
For Safety, Security, and Legal Reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process, protect the rights, safety, or property of users, SnickityBit Solutions LLC, or others, investigate abuse, fraud, security issues, or policy violations, or enforce our Terms of Service.
Business Transfers. If SnickityBit Solutions LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a substantially similar policy.
6. Third-Party Services
Faith Circles may rely on third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Firebase or Google Cloud services for authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and cloud functions
- Apple services for Apple Sign In, App Store distribution, subscriptions, and device functionality
- OpenAI or other AI providers for AI-assisted features
- Bolls.life or other Bible data providers for Scripture retrieval
- SnickityBit-operated services for short links and QR code generation
- Email or support providers, if enabled
Your use of Faith Circles may also be subject to the privacy policies and terms of those third-party providers.
7. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Faith Circles, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Some content — prayer requests, comments, circle membership records, weekly Scriptures, answered-prayer records — may remain until deleted by the user, circle owner, or account holder. Backups, logs, and security records may remain for a limited period after deletion.
8. Account Deletion and Data Choices
You may request account deletion through the app, if available, or by contacting us. When your account is deleted, your account access may be removed, your personal profile information may be deleted or anonymized, and content you posted in circles may be deleted, anonymized, or retained if necessary for circle continuity, safety, legal compliance, or technical reasons. Some records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period.
If you are a circle owner, you may need to transfer ownership, delete the circle, or take other action before deleting your account.
9. Children's Privacy
Faith Circles is intended for users who are old enough to use the app under applicable law and app store rules. The app is not intended for children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian involvement and consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information to Faith Circles may contact us.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- Using strong passwords where applicable
- Being careful with invite links and QR codes
- Sharing prayer requests only with people you trust
- Reporting suspicious activity
11. International Users
Faith Circles may be operated from the United States and may process information in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Faith Circles, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the effective date above and provide notice through the app, website, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of Faith Circles after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
