SnickityBit Solutions LLC values your privacy. MarkDown Reader does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data — the app runs entirely on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad and reports nothing back to us.
1. No Analytics
MarkDown Reader contains no analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting frameworks. We have no way of knowing how, or whether, you use the app.
2. No Accounts
There is nothing to sign into. MarkDown Reader has no user accounts, no login, and no cloud sync of any kind.
3. Remote Content in Documents
MarkDown Reader does not send your documents anywhere, with one exception: if a Markdown file you open references remote content — for example, an image hosted on the web — the app fetches that content directly so the document renders as written.
Those requests go straight to the host the document names. We never see them, and no data identifying you is attached.
4. Sandboxed by Design
The app runs inside Apple's App Sandbox on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. It can only read the files you explicitly choose to open, and has no access to the rest of your device.
